Creativity in Education Fellows
The DaVinci Institute also offers $1000 fellowships to promote the scholarship of creativity in education. Faculty at both two- and four-year institutions that are members of the DaVinci Institute are eligible to apply and may apply as individuals or as collaborative groups. Collaborative projects will be eligible for a single award.
DaVinci seeks to encourage increased understanding about the efficacy of various approaches to developing human creativity. Researchers are encouraged to submit proposals that answer questions such as: How do you develop the aptitude to be creative? How do you know when it works? What assessment tools could be used to measure creativity? What are the effects and what is the value of developing creativity in students? These projects may apply to a wide variety of educational settings, including K-12, higher education, corporate training, and community development.
Fellowship selectees will a $1000 grant to apply to any aspect of completing the proposed project.
DaVinci Creativity Fellows will be asked to provide a brief presentation about the completed project to the board of directors approximately one year after receiving funding. The board reserves the right to determine the time, date, and location of this presentation in consultation with each fellow.
There is no institutional limit for the number of Creativity in Education Fellowship proposals that can be submitted. Each submission must include the Applicant information and Institutional Approval Form with all required signatures.
The deadline for applications is February 9, 2024.

DaVinci Creativity Fellowship – Selection Criteria
Submit all of the documents in as few files as possible – preferably as one PDF. File labels should include the nominee’s name and “DaVinciCreativityFellowApp.” Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Nominations and supporting materials must be submitted electronically to davinci@osrhe.edu. All nominees will receive a notification of application receipt.
The annual DaVinci Institute Awards Celebration will be held on March 29, 2024. Awardee attendance at this event is required.
